INTERVENTIONS
Interventions are the actions, generally identified by a Diagnostic Assessment, that are needed to bring about the changes and improvements required to achieve goals. Specifically what each client requires will depend on their:
• Current conditions
• Targets and goals
• Internal resources.
Often, an organization will need more than one intervention and, if so, these are coordinated for maximum efficiency and gains. Usually, interventions impact human resources, people at all levels in the organization, and the organizational environment which includes such things as strategic plans and goals, culture, processes and procedures, systems and programs, and communications.
Interventions include identifying what is needed, the resources available to provide the interventions, and the design of the interventions.
