Interventions Related to Human Resources

For clarity in providing examples, the interventions related to human resources and those related to the organization have been separated.  In reality, the two are closely interrelated since people have to function within the organizational environment and the organization depends on people to complete necessary tasks. The results of an assessment detail how well the two are supporting each other, if there are disconnects, and where there are opportunities for improvement.  Therefore, the interventions more often than not include changes and improvements that relate to both the human resources and the organizational environment.

In addition to determining what interventions are required to achieve goals, an assessment also identifies what improvement opportunities currently exist within the organization – these can either be used as it or modified so there is no need to reinvent the wheel.  Also identified are the internal staff who have both the talent and time to design some of the needed interventions, usually with direction.

Because the specific interventions required by a client depend on their unique needs, the following list is provided as an example of the kinds of human resource interventions the GFWCS team has designed and are expert in developing.
