Whether public or private, for- profit or non-profit, large or small, and across industries, organizations are focused on attaining results.  The achievement of desired outcomes relies on having specific and measurable goals, clear strategies, and a supportive culture.  While these represent foundation elements and are essential, success or failure is dependent on the ability to implement​  the actions that will deliver the results and these rely on

 

 

 

  

​The ability of each person and each organization unit to successfully complete the actions they are responsible for, thus contributing all the activities necessary to achieve desired results.

Simple to understand but challenging to accomplish as attested to by the volumes written, scores of programs, and endless gurus.  Some approaches focus on one element as key – strategic plans, leadership development, cultural diversity, and on and on – improvement in one area will produce some positive results but only a holistic approach that considers all elements can lead to continuous and lasting improvements and results.
