Barbara Valentine has experience in corporate management and consulting with a diverse client base in industries including utilities, manufacturing, service, transportation, financial, retail, education, and government. As a Certified Performance Technologist, through the International Society for Performance Improvement, she has focused on helping organizations measurably improve performance and results.
Barbara has completed numerous assessments to clarify current organizational conditions to help clients bring about the changes needed to achieve goals. She partners with client staff to design and implement improvements including strategic, operating, and organizational plans; culture adjustment; organizational and staff alignment; change management strategies; and development of competencies at all levels through custom-designed training and coaching.

Guided by the belief that every client should receive a measurable return for their investment, Barbara uses metrics extensively. She has designed and installed Performance Management Systems to identify, track and maintain performance levels of individuals and units. These real-time measures help organizations compare actual to desired performance, make adjustments as needed, and meet and exceed expectations.
Her background includes work within the public sector, including the development and revision of safety policies and procedures, as well as reviewing existing procedures and developing safety training materials. In one public sector project, she guided an internal team in the development and installation of formal procedures used to complete capital projects that resulted in multi-millions of dollars in savings. Barbara is accustomed to working within the framework of various laws and regulatory requirements, as well as within union environments.
She has functioned as Project Manager for hundreds of successful projects across industry lines and has always completed work on time and within or below budget. Additionally, Ms. Valentine has held management positions in human resources, sales, marketing, and administration.
